In Victoria on a very deadly day, there was a terrifying bush fire. Everyone was frightened , I watched as people jumped in their cars and zoomed away. I on the other hand did not know what to do , I couldn't drive.
A car drives past me making me cough and choke. I start to sweat , I can feel the flames on my cheeks. As I look up my eyes start to water, the fire only a few feet away from me. I turn around to run it feels like I am melting. I open my mouth to breathe but all I can taste is smoke.
I run as fast as I can trying to get clean oxygen , I fear I won't make it. Finally I come up with a plan. I will jump in the water.
I go left, then right around the trees. I come to the banks edge. I do a big leap into the air. I end up floating gently on the lakes surface. As I my eyes I can see a helicopter flying above me with big buckets of water. As I keep watching I hear fire sirens going on and off.
After days of fighting the fire the smoke fades away. The trees are burnt and the houses were black with ash. Everyone was devastated.
